This 3-day intensive workshop encourages examination of one’s teaching practices with feedback focused on the learning process rather than on the specific lesson content. The ISW engenders participatory learning and community building that can transfer back into the classroom. Participants work collaboratively in a small group setting of 4-5 participants to further develop their teaching effectiveness as they design and lead three 10-minute lessons. Following each, participants receive reflective verbal, written, and video feedback from the other participants who have been learners. This is a three-day workshop series scheduled for Tuesday August 18, Wednesday August 19, and Thursday August 20. Each day will run from 9 am to 4:30 pm in DB 1014. ** Please kindly note: this is a 3-day workshop series intended for participants to attend the entire workshop (all three days from 9am-4:30pm) in-person.
